GEAR-UP is Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs.  This is a federal grant that was awarded to Lancaster County School District for select schools with the expectation and added support that basically says, we want you to graduate from high school and go on to college.

2011-2012 Palmetto Silver Awards
Lancaster High School is the recipient of two South Carolina Department of Education Palmetto Silver Awards. LHS received awards for both general achievement and for closing the achievement gap.  The awards program is designed to recognize and reward schools that attain high levels of absolute academic performance and schools that attain high rates of improvement.

Current students may request up to 10 transcripts at no cost.

Former students and alumni: $5.00 fee for each document and an additional $3.00 convenience fee for each order.

All other requests: $10.00 fee for each document and a $3.00 convenience fee for each order.
