MEDIA
CENTER DONATION
PROGRAM
"LEAVE
A PAW PRINT "
|
If
you would like to make a contribution to the LHS Media Center in the
name
of a member of the senior class, this program is designed with that in
mind. You can donate funds toward the purchase of a book that will
remain
in the Media Center with a book plate citing the name of the honored
senior,
the donor and the year for which the item is donated .
How
much you donate is up to you. The LHS media specialists will make an
appropriate
selection, (if you don't specify a title), with the funds you
contribute.
You may select the subject area for your book, i.e., gardening, soccer,
art, history, baseball, hobbies, music, biography, etc. or a specific
title
or author. If you have a specific title in mind, the title must meet
the
selection standards used by the media center and your contribution
should
match the retail cost of that item.
Here
are two examples of possible donations:
- You
would like to donate a
book in honor of your
son or daughter and they love to draw. You can name a specific
book,
or simply ask that a book on drawing be purchased in their honor.
- Your
son or daughter
has participated in a sport while at LHS or has a favorite subject.
Choose
a book on their favorite subject, (history, science, computers,
literature),
or sport, (tennis, golf, basketball, swimming).
Making
a permanent donation to the LHS Media Center is now easier than
ever. The Paw
Print Donation Form
is here for you to print and mail in at your
convenience! In
a few weeks, you will be notified of the placement of your donation in
the LHS Media Center! A
copy of the front cover of the book as well as a copy of the completed
book plate will be mailed to you.
This
is a wonderful way to remember your senior at graduation and remember
LHS
too!
